Another amazing night - almost a full house again
This 4-piece band is just as good as people told me. From Spalding in Lincolnshire, it was a long trip for them, but well worth it. Their first visit to our side of the Pennines, but it won't be their last.
They played 3 brilliant sets of rocking country music, including a great version of Copperhead Road. The lead guitarist Dave had an impressive collection of 9 guitars, 2 mandolins and 2 lap steels on stage, and used virtually all of them. They did three encore songs, and had the audience on their feet for a standing ovation.
There were dancers on the dancefloor almost all of the night, and the listeners were listening (which the band commented favourably on)
A little bird tells me they've another booking early next year in our area, and hopefully back at Chew Valley later next year.
